Our Box
CrossFit Bedford Hills and the coaching staff are dedicated to teaching, training and coaching anyone willing to push personal limits towards the goal of becoming a better physical being. No matter what goals you set, CrossFit and CFBH can help you achieve them.
Our members have come in all shapes and sizes, all with varying levels of experience and ability. Each has their own background story and each has a unique set of goals. With proper focus on technique and safe functional movements they’ve been able to push their intensity to brand new levels and thus achieve their initial goals in joining CFBH. The good news is with each goal reached, many new ones are created.
Our mission is simply to provide the venue, coaching and support to our members so CrossFit becomes the best hour of their day!

CrossFit Bedford Hills represents the culmination of a dream to leave corporate America behind and start helping people become healthier and happier humans. Once I understood CrossFit is not just about speed or strength but also mental fortitude and healthier physical exams I wanted to spread this new found love with as many people as possible.
I opened CrossFit Bedford Hills in April 2013 and began coaching anyone who walked in the door. The results in each one of those people and the amazing community CFBH has become is why I began coaching.

Growing up across the pond in London, I was definitely into endurance sports like soccer, swimming and tennis. In 2011 I started running. After competing in a few local races I fell in love with sport. Within my first year I ran 3 marathons, ultra distance relay races, Spartans and many more. Like any athlete I wanted more, to be stronger, faster and recover quicker. I found CrossFit through friends and was instantly hooked. The definition of CrossFit, constantly varied, functional movements executed at high intensity summed it up perfectly and the next fitness chapter of my life began. To be able to learn and pass the knowledge to other athletes is extremely rewarding. CrossFit makes the impossible possible, is the foundation of a community and is a way of life. In May 2017, I opened Studio 56 to offer the best of both worlds, high intensity, light weight, group workouts.

Coaching Crossfit is rewarding in the ways people don't see in the mirror. Yes, it's nice helping people look fitter. Of course everyone wants abs. But the greatest reward as coaches is seeing the transformations in people that aren't physical. Why do I coach at CFBH? Because it's about helping people be healthier. It's about helping people more able and more mentally resilient. It's helping people find confidence again, inside and outside the box. It's finding inner strength. It's growing a community. It's helping lives. We coach Crossfit because we hope that every time a person enters the box, he or she leaves at the end of the day a better person.

After years of working out in “globo gyms” and long distance running, I simply wasn’t seeing the results I wanted regardless of my efforts. In 2010 I gave CrossFit a try and haven’t looked back since. By dedicating myself to CrossFit and an overall healthy lifestyle I’ve seen all those changes I was chasing and changed my life for the better.
I started coaching at CrossFit Bedford Hills in 2014. This gave me an opportunity to share my experiences and knowledge to better prepare all of CFBH athletes- both the seasoned and starting novice. It comes with great joy coaching CFBH athletes to move better, be efficient in their lifts and watching them feeling better about themselves.

From a young-age, I was exposed to the study of yoga and transcendental meditation. Growing up as a competitive gymnast, I continued my interest in yoga through college. After a successful career in television production, I earned my 200 RYT certification from Ohra Yoga, taught by Michelle Briks. In addition, I studied human anatomy with Lara Heimann and Vinyasa sequencing with Lori McAlister. I thoughtfully build each class as a balance of strength, mobility, mindfulness and humor. I create a compassionate environment where everyone feels welcome.
